Meet Sarah Meskin, Founder & President
I’m a Brooklyn native finding myself surprisingly at home living in the ’burbs of Alexandria, VA.
From studying aerospace engineering in college before realizing my love for design, to working as a book designer and binder, then moving into web design and front-end development roles at design firms in NY and DC, my favorite activity of problem solving has always been at the core of what I love to do.
Earliest Design Memory: My dad sitting me down with a C-Thru graphics ruler and showing me how to lay out text on a page so that nothing was too cramped or fell off the edge.
Favorite Domestic Animal: Cha Cha Fluffertons
Favorite Hobby: I make my own clothes.

Meet Mal Jones, Co-Owner
My full name is Malcolm, but I go by Mal. You would be shocked at how many people spell Malcolm wrong.
From being a designer with PBS KIDS, to being an Interactive Art Director working with some of DC’s biggest organizations, to teaching the next generation of designers at the University of Maryland, I’ve always stressed that design is not just a way to make things pretty, but its purpose is to educate, communicate, and empathize with audiences.
I like pie.
Earliest Design Memory: Watching The Secret City with Commander Mark and then drawing on my sister’s wall.
Favorite Food: Anything in pie form.
